DESCRIPTION:Sacramento Stand Down is planning a 1-day event on April 1\, 2026 from 1000-1300 hours (10am – 1pm) at the Sacramento Stand Down Warehouse\, 5931 Recreation Way\, McClellan Park\, CA. 95652.  After our last stand down\, we realized we need to provide requirements for volunteers to set the proper expectations and ensure efficiency. These are:\n\n\nMust be able to stand the entire time (when applicable)\nMust be able to bend over and stand back up with ease\nMust be able to lift items\nMust be able to reach and extend with ease\nMay require several steps depending on the role\n\nDetails of our 1 day stand down are the following:\n\n\nDate: April 1\, 2026\nTime: Event is 10am – 1pm\, Volunteer shifts will be 9am – 2pm to account for set-up and tear down\nLocation: 5931 Recreation Way\, McClellan Park\, CA 95652\nBoxed lunch provided\nOnly 1 shift provided\n\nPlease respond directly to Terry Ammirati (ndirish17@yahoo.com) or WGK Frank Consulo if you can volunteer for this event. It will be the first 20 who apply plus waitlisted.
