FIREWORKS BOOTH TIME IS HERE AGAIN AND WE NEED YOU.

Holy big bang, we are still shooting for the stars with our fireworks sales.  It will be our 27^th consecutive year raising funds for scholarships for our schools. As most of us know, we present scholarships to 8^th grade students from our parish schools attending a Catholic high school.  By the visibility of our booth on Arden Way in front of St. Ignatius parish, we alert motorists and pedestrians that the Knights are asking for their support for our community work by buying their safe and sane fireworks at our booth. And it has worked every year.

In 2025, our booth sold over $50,000 of fireworks of which around $20,000 was net. However, this sale volume requires all Brothers and Lady Knights to take a shift or two.  Funds over and above our scholarship program needs ($18,000) are used to add to other faith, community, other youth and parish programs.   If you or family or friends 18 years old or over would like to help between June 28^th and the Fourth of July, contact me at 261-8652 (egobbo@surewest.net).  If you would like more information on this program itself, contact our chairmen, Frank Consulo at 916-366-7131(fconulo@sbcglobal.net) or Steve Hall at 916-787-1069 (townsedan@gmail.com).  Shifts are generally 2 hours in length between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. I will also send out a volunteer sign up sheet to use for your scheduling.  Weekends and the 3^rd and 4^th of July are our biggest sales days.  Sign up one and all!!
