Safe Haven Training
All diocesan volunteers who work with children — and that includes all Knights who are serving at church — are required to complete child abuse prevention training and diocesan policy training once every three years. The on-line training program, Safe Haven, is a 3 part video series offered through Catholic Mutual Group. Please contact the Safe Environment office at 916-733-0237 if you need your training to be affiliated with multiple sites.

Fingerprinting/Background Checks
A thorough and formal process of fingerprinting and background checks occurs for all volunteers who have regular contact with children — this includes all Knights. The request for live scan service form is available at your parish.
