Brother Robert (Bob) J. Akers passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 95. Brother Bob was initiated into our Order on October 10, 2016, and exemplified as a Third-Degree member on March 4, 2017. Council 4970 Brother and Chaplain, Father Eduino Silveira celebrated a Council requested Mass on April 9, 2026, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Carmichael. Brother Bob passed away exactly one year from the date of Lady Knight Lee’s passing. They were married for 67 years. Private funeral services were held at Mount Vernon Memorial Park and Mortuary in Fair Oaks, CA. May Brother Bob’s soul and the souls of all our departed Council Brothers and Lady Knights rest in eternal peace. Amen.
